13. 우물에 빠진 천문학자

어느 마을에 뛰어난 천문학자가 살고 있었습니다. 그 천문학자는 저녁만 되면 별들을 관찰하기 위해 집 밖으로 나가서 돌아다니는 습관이 있었습니다.

밤마다 열심히 별을 관찰했기 때문에 그 천문학자는 수많은 별들에 대해 자세히 알고 있었습니다. 하늘에 떠 있는 별들을 연구하기 위해 천문학자는 언제나 하늘을 올려다보면서 걸었습니다.

그러던 어느 날 밤입니다. 열심히 하늘을 올려다보면서 돌아다니던 천문학자는 그만 우물에 빠지고 말았습니다. 고개를 들고 하늘만 올려다보다가 땅에 무엇이 있는지 알 수가 없었던 것입니다.

우물에 빠진 천문학자는 깜짝 놀라서 소리를 질렀습니다. "누가 좀 도와 주세요! 전 지금 우물에 빠졌습니다!"

때마침 지나가던 농부가 그 소리를 듣고 달려왔습니다. 농부는 우물 안을 들여다보면서 천문학자에게 물었습니다. 

"어쩌다가 우물에 빠진 겁니까?"

"나는 천문학자입니다. 하늘의 별을 올려다보면서 걷다가 그만 우물에 빠지고 말았습니다."

농부는 천문학자가 우물에서 빠져나올 수 있도록 도와주었습니다. 우물을 빠져나온 천문학자는 자기를 구해준 농부에게 고맙다고 인사를 했습니다. 

"정말 감사합니다. 당신 덕분에 생명을 건지게 되었습니다."

그러자 그 농부가 천문학자에게 충고했습니다.

"우물 속에 빠진 천문학자 양반! 당신도 참 한심한 사람이 군요. 하늘에 무엇이 있는지 그렇게 잘 아는 사람이 자기 발 밑에 무엇이 있는지는 전혀 모르고 있다니 말입니다."

In Adventure Bay, there was a talented astronomer named Professor Skywatcher. Every evening, he had a habit of going outside to observe the stars. He knew a lot about the stars because he studied them every night, always looking up at the sky as he walked.

One night, while he was busy looking up at the stars, Professor Skywatcher didn’t notice a well in his path and fell right into it. He was so focused on the sky that he didn’t see what was on the ground.

Stuck in the well, Professor Skywatcher shouted, “Help! Someone, please help me! I’ve fallen into a well!”

Luckily, Farmer Yumi was passing by and heard his cries. She ran over and looked down into the well.

“How did you fall into the well?” she asked.

“I’m an astronomer,” Professor Skywatcher explained. “I was looking up at the stars while walking and didn’t see the well.”

Farmer Yumi quickly called Ryder and the Paw Patrol for help. Ryder and the pups arrived in no time. Chase used his winch to lower Marshall into the well, and together they helped Professor Skywatcher climb out safely.

“Thank you so much,” Professor Skywatcher said gratefully. “You saved my life!”

Farmer Yumi smiled and said, “Professor, you know a lot about the stars in the sky, but you should also pay attention to what’s on the ground.”

Ryder added, “Remember, it’s important to keep your eyes on where you’re going, even if you’re looking at the stars.”

Professor Skywatcher nodded, realizing the wisdom in their words. From that day on, he made sure to watch his step while still enjoying his stargazing.
